Services- 

Although it is difficult to list every single service I can offer, here is a list of examples. I do my best to provide quality work for a reasonable price. If you need something that is not listed, please feel free to contact me with any questions.

~Alterations- Alterations include but are not limited to taking in, letting out, hemming, adjusting straps, designing bustles, any change to the look or feel of a garment.

​

~Pressing/Steaming- Remove wrinkles and hold pleats in place. Complementary with alteration services!

​

~Repairs- Fixing hems and beading, replacing zippers, sewing buttons back on, reinforcing seams, etc.

​

~Measuring- Ordering a gown or veil from a shop and need your measurements? At Mrs. Stitches getting your measurements is quick and just $20!

Pricing- 

All prices are the typical prices and ranges, are subject to change, and depend on the fabric, style, construction of the garment, and what all exactly needs to be done. More exact quotes will be given once the garment is fitted.

 

~Pressing/steaming with alterations- FREE

 

~Pressing/steaming without alterations- $20-$80

 

~Basic wedding gown alterations- $100-$350

 

~More complex wedding gown alterations- $350-$700

 

~Bridesmaid dress (or similar type dress) alterations- $40-$150

 

~Simple dress hem- $20-$60 (1-3 layers without slits)

 

~Prom or evening gown alterations- $40-$250

 

~Changing from zipper to corset back- $100-$250 plus the cost of materials

~Adding buttons to back of gown- $60-$140 plus the cost of materials

 

~Basic alteration for casual dress- $20-$40

 

~Simple top-stitched hem- $20-$30/layer

 

~Invisible hand stitched hem- $40/layer
